Our Digital Prototypes:

This week we completed our digital prototypes, which are a series of 5 different scenes in Unity that test various game programming aspects that we will need to have for our game.
Currently Luc is working on developing these digital prototypes further, Gio is working on a prototype for the non-player characters' AI, and Chance is working on the level design and assets. Right now our biggest obstacle is time, as we work to build up our Unity skills to create the different aspects of our game. The enemy AI still seems to be our biggest unknown, as the digital prototypes show that many of the game mechanics are working already. The player movement and camera movement are both working well, but the AI tracking is still a work in progress. After we are satisfied with our digital prototypes, the next step for us is to combine those into a first version of our game. With this we will also be able to see what the game looks like with our visual design and style.
The next step for us will be to put all of these mechanics together for a test version of the game.
